I am a senior accredited BACP counsellor and registered UKCP
psychotherapist with over 16 years of clinical experience across NHS GP
surgeries, community services, and university counselling settings. For the
past 12 years, I’ve run a private practice offering personalised, compassionate
care.
My dual training in integrative and existential therapy is
complemented by specialist skills in CBT and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive
Therapy (MBCT), allowing me to tailor my approach to each client’s needs. I
hold a Doctorate in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling (Middlesex
University) and an MSc in Integrative Counselling (Greenwich University).
I specialise in supporting women through the psychological
challenges of pregnancy and motherhood. I offer non-judgemental, supportive sessions to explore the range of thoughts and feelings that may arise at this time.
My doctoral research explored postnatal anxiety as a nuanced
and often overlooked experience. This work continues to inform my practice,
deepening my understanding of maternal psychology and shaping how I support women through the transitions and tensions of motherhood. You can find out more about my research here.
Alongside clinical practice, I am an experienced clinical
supervisor, holding a Level 7 Diploma in Supervision, alongside advanced training in Existential Supervision (Level 8).
I’ve lectured and supervised at Regent’s University London, and currently serve as a teaching consultant and supervisor at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London.
